Il Terrier Nero Russo

Il Terrier Nero Russo è un compagno eccezionale, comprende molto rapidamente cosa ci si attende da lui.

E’ un cane dotato di un forte carattere (è un “dominante”) e se sappiamo conquistare la sua stima, sarà un compagno meraviglioso sempre pronto a compiacerci.

Il Terrier Nero Russo apprende facilmente se l’insegnamento gli viene proposto con dolcezza, ogni forma di brutalità o coercizione non produrrà nessun risultato positivo. E’ un cane che ricerca molto il contatto con la persona che si occupa di lui. Pur di stare accanto all’amico uomo accetta di abitare in appartamento o vivere qualsiasi situazione gravosa. E’ facilmente gestibile in ogni occasione, lasciato libero durante le frequenti passeggiate e benché dotato di naturale curiosità e vivacità non si allontana mai dalla nostra visuale; nel caso fosse attratto da situazioni particolari (presenza di estranei o presenza di altri cani…) risponde con prontezza al richiamo e torna sui suoi passi.

Nel suo territorio dimostra una naturale diffidenza con gli estranei, ma e’ pronto ad accettarli se non intravede pericolo o minaccia. Fuori dal territorio si comporta molto dignitosamente, evita gli inviti a farsi accarezzare o coccolare, ma in presenza del padrone anche il moccioso piu’ insistente può tranquillamente accertarsi se il cagnone in questione sotto quel ciuffo nero che arriva fino al naso nasconde due occhi !!

Il T.N.R. unisce alla bellezza esteriore e alla sua dolcezza, un carattere forte, un grande coraggio e intuito; è capace di vive reazioni di difesa se la situazione lo esige e le sa analizzare molto rapidamente.

Un Terrier Russo veramente motivato a difendere o difendersi è di una reattività e determinazione tale che ho riscontrato in un’altra razza da me allevata i l”Pastore del Caucaso”.

Un cucciolo ben socializzato non avrà assolutamente problemi di adattamento quando dovrà lasciare i fratelli per entrare in una nuova casa (i problemi sono miei quando devo staccarmi da loro…). E’ sicuramente tra i cani piu’ prolifici del panorama canino, da 6 a 12 cuccioli che pesano alla nascita circa 500gr. Non vengono mai consegnati prima dei 2 mesi, entro questa età si puo’ verificare una corretta costruzione, il colore degli occhi e la chiusura dei denti.

Il carattere del piccolo deve essere “esuberante” “rompiscatole” e non mostrare alcuna diffidenza.

Per quanto riguarda la salute è decisamente sano, probabilmente ciò è dovuto alla recente creazione di questa razza, con immissione di sangue di razze diverse, una selezione seria senza l’abuso di ricorrente consanguineita’ cercando soprattutto di mantenere inalterate le qualità psico-fisiche; non a caso i RUSSI orgogliosissimi lo hanno battezzato la “PERLA NERA RUSSA”.

E’ estremamente resistente ai cambiamenti climatici, puo’ vivere tranquillamente all’aperto con temperature al di sotto degli 0° o……comodamente sul divano di casa!

The Black Russian Terrier is an exceptional companion, he understands very quickly what we are expecting from him.

It is a dog endowed with a strong temper (it is “dominant”) and if we succeed in conquering his esteem, it will be a wonderful friend always ready to please us.

The Black Russian Terrier easily learns if the teaching is offered him in a sweet way, whatever form of brutality or compulsion will not produce any positive result. It is a dog that strongly looks for the contact with the person who looks after it. In order to be close to its friend man he adapts itself to live in a flat or to any other uncomfortable situation. It can be easily managed in every situation, left free during the frequent walks and even if it is endowed with a natural curiosity and liveliness, it never gets far from our sight; in case it is attracted by particular situations (such as the presence of strangers or of other dogs) he will always readily answer to our call and he will come back on its steps.

In its territory it shows s natural mistrust towards strangers, but it is ready to accept them if it does not see any danger or threaten in them. Out of its territory it behaves with great dignity, he refuses the invitation to be caressed or cherished, but in its owner’s presence even the most annoying child can quietly ascertain if that big dog, under that black forelock that reaches its nose hides two eyes!

The Black Russian Terrier unites a great outer beauty, sweetness, a strong temper, a great courage and intuitiveness; he is able to show lively reaction of defence, if the situations require it, but it can analyse them very quickly.

A Black Russian Terrier really motivated to defend or to defend himself has got such a determination and reactivity that I found out in another race I breed, that is the Caucasian Sheep Dog.

A well socialized puppy will not have any problem of adaptability when he has to leave his little brothers to go to his new house (the real problems are for me when I must part from them…). It is certainly among the most prolific in the dog panorama, it can give birth to 6 up to 12 puppies that weigh about 500gr at the birth. They are never entrusted to their new owners before they are two months old, within this age a correct construction can be achieved, as well as the colour of their eyes and the teeth closure.

The temper of the puppy must be joyful, he must be a “nuisance” and it must show no suspiciousness.

As for its health, he is certainly very healthy, maybe this is due to the recent creation of this breed, with the mixing of blood from different breeds, a serious selection without frequently abusing of imbreeding, trying above all to keep unaltered the psyco-physical qualities; it is not by chance that Russian people are very proud of this breed they have baptised “Russian Black Pearl”.

It is extremely resistant to climatic changes, he can easily live in the open air even when the temperatures are below 0 …or comfortably on the sofa, at home!
